Over 100 years long tradition of the company and many pioneering achievements in the area of technology and know-how were the driving force of the company’s success which is now present on the most important markets of the world and employs directly a few dozen thousands persons.

In Poland, Kronospan has been present since 1989 – economic transformations, „round table” in 1989 – these are the factors which caused that for the foreign business in our country the green light was switched on.

Kronospan Group Poland which presently includes 10 plants is the Polish leader in the wood-based industry.

The beginning of the Kronospan history in Poland starts from creation of the joint venture with the Chipboard Plant in Szczecinek.

Over 15 years of its business activity, Kronospan have invested in building of new or in modernization of the existing plants more than billion dollars, what, according to Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIIZ), places our company on 13 position among the largest foreign investors in Poland.

Basic activity of the Group is directed towards both the industrial customer (B2B) and to the individual customers (B2C).

The strategic task of Kronospan in Poland is the comprehensive partnership for the furniture manufacturing industry – the companies of the Group manufacture mainly the materials for furniture manufacturing. Today, the Kronospan Brand is known first of all from its high quality mdf and hdf boards and chipboards. High investment expenses in new technologies, careful watching of the market trends and many years of experience in cooperation with the largest representatives in the furniture industry caused that the Kronospan Group became one of the most trustworthy suppliers of semi-products for the industry not only in Poland but also abroad – the companies export their products practically to all markets of the world.

The essential part of the Kronospan offer in Poland, directed to the individual customer are finishing materials. The production portfolio of the Group includes the floor panels, wall panels, edge bandings, work tops, rack shelves and accessories for individual assembly and care.
