Achievements

Since the beginning of its existence in Poland, Kronospan has successfully restructured 5 manufacturing sites and constructed another 3.

The Group’s sites successfully implemented manufacturing capability, previously absent in Poland, which enabled them to reverse the fortunes of companies from going bankrupt into market leaders.

The Group on an ongoing basis invests dozens millions of Euros in development of modern technologies and machinery which enable the company to maintain high rate of technological – design development.

It is worth emphasising that Kronospan is one of the main architects of the Polish furniture industry success - Kronospan in Szczecinek as the first in Poland produced MDF panels, currently one of the basic semi-finished products for furniture production.

The pioneering spirit embedded in the Kronospan company is demonstrated in the local finishing material market, where they were the first company to be able to offer wall panels.

Kronospan may also boast the implementation of some of the most modern technological solutions in Poland and, indeed, the world: e.g. our line for the production of thin HDF panels (Szczecinek) or the process line for production of decorative paper (Poznań).

The effectiveness of development strategies for Kronospan in Poland is measurable also by social criteria. In total the Group’s sites in Poland employ directly over 2500 people, and another 15 000 work for Kronospan indirectly.

In the regions with structural unemployment, Kronospan sites are a real example of proper management and responsible social policy.

Numerous awards and certificates acquired by the Group’s sites confirm high requirements and objectives that we set for ourselves.
