15 years have elapsed since the moment when Kronospan invested the first zloty in the Polish country. During this time we have invested over one billion dollars in areas with high, often structural unemployment, thus becoming one of the main economic pillars in the region.

Management of our sizeable manufacturing sites is always a considerable challenge; it also involves responsibility for any actions taken.

Since the beginning of our history in Poland we have recorded regular growth of turnovers and employment level which is translated directly to economic development of the regions where our companies are located.

We invest in development: we introduce new technologies, products, continuously extending our manufacturing portfolio.

The products manufactured by us are delivered to leading furniture companies and to consumers in Poland and Europe.

The highest quality required of us is our day-to-day objective, and thanks to internal procedures and training systems we are able to continuously improve the qualifications of our staff.

Our suppliers are a group of carefully selected companies that invariably ensure the highest quality. Kronospan site is a reliable business partner – to the most effective partners we offer long-term cooperation and the chance of joint development.

Our plans are long term and they assume continuation of growth for the companies managed by us.

Each Kronospan’s investment results in new positions and a number of additional jobs in each of the companies cooperating with us.

Each new site is a chance for the region to reduce its unemployment level, improve living conditions and increase the feeling of safety among local communities – in this way we have a direct influence on economic growth of the region and its attractiveness for subsequent investors.

Due to the nature of our production, location of the investment plays the most important role for us. We focus mainly on regions guaranteeing stable supplies of timber.

We always recruit personnel among inhabitants of the region, taking care of their professional training and stable working conditions.

We are one of the major suppliers for furniture industry but since we work on a very demanding market our competitiveness is a key issue for us.
