Presence of Kronospan in Poland does not involve only economic development, new technologies or more jobs – it results also in considerable responsibility for the region and its inhabitants. We have managed to effectively implement a specifically developed social communication program covering by its actions many social-cultural levels.

Kronospan Szczecinek as a big enterprise tries to ensure that its success results in better future for the local community.

All people in need may count on the company’s support, although children from the poorest families, the disabled and sick have the priority. Our site has an important position in the life of local communities. We ensure cyclic profile for social programs implemented by us. We support most local initiatives focused on development of regions and their inhabitants – medical service and educational centres. We finance cultural events, provide resources for computer laboratories, scholarships and educational aids.

In addition, we take care of safety of inhabitants in the town where our company runs its business by financing, among other things, purchase of an ambulance, fire engine and cardiomonitor.

During 15 years of its activities in Poland, Kronospan Szczecinek could be recognised as an ambassador of the region, effectively promoting local values in the international area. Many times awarded with the „Fair Play Enterprise” title, we take care also of our employees who, apart from basic social package, receive many extra benefits.
