Ventilated facades using Krono Siding boards are ideal choice for adapting to existing buildings and for newly designed architectural forms. They are used in detached houses, multi-family houses (apartments’ blocks) and public buildings. The facade is made of surface layer (Krono Siding board), air zone, optional thermal insulation layer and the substructure. Thermal insulation open for air circulation helps to maintain natural humidity and constant building’s temperature. It improves thermal energy balance, slows concrete layer erosion process, is additional acoustic insulation.

System characteristics

Krono Siding system is based on horizontal elevation panels montage. They are installed on wood substructure, which is fixed directly to the wall. The system allows “fold” montage which hides montage elements (1). Assembling of the panels is fast and easy. It may be done alone (montage instructions are attached to each consignment). Krono Siding panel has production standard size 3050x255 mm and has special milling at the bottom part of the panel (2). It allows to put it on montage buckle.

Due to tested montage buckles’ system, all kind of elevation may be covered, also old, destroyed walls. Panels may be used on whole buildings’ elevations or only on their parts (attics, entrances) to improve their visual effect. Complete elevation is light construction with no influence on building static behavior. It may be successfully used on small houses. Panels may be installed in all weather conditions, also in winter season.

Elevation panels' cleaning

Panels are easy to maintain. Small dirtiness may be cleaned with towel, warm water and available cleaning agents, which do not contain surface scratching additives. In case of bigger dirtiness, cleaning may be done with help of pressure equipment.

Color range

Proposed decors collection consists of uni color and wood range. Other decors from Kronoplan Color range may be used for panels production on the request.
